This qualification enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. The one-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe working environment. The course is split into practical work and theoretical classroom work, including practical assessment on CPR and first aid. The award is valid for three years as of the date of assessment and candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age at the time of taking the assessment. No prior first aid knowledge is required.

Terms & conditions: You must give atleast 7 days’ notice to cancel your place. If you cancel within 7 days your organisation may be charged in full. You may transfer the place to another individual in your organisation with up to 48 hrs notice at no charge. If you fail to show on the day this will be considered a funded place and you cannot be funded for a First Aid qualification again through HAPpy.
