This Paediatric First Aid qualification is accredited and regulated and provides first aid training specifically for those learners who would like to be able to administer first aid to infants under the age of 1 and children from the age of 1 up to the onset of puberty.

This 2-day in-person qualification fulfils the requirements of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as issued by the department for Education and Skills Foundation stage relating to Early Years childcare which requires you to have 12 hours of paediatric first aid training. Both days of this particular course are to be attended in person.

This is suitable for Lead staff, all other supporting staff should be able to complete the 1 day Emergency Paediatric First Aid course 6 hour equivalent in order to meet suffiicient OfSted/Early Years standards or HAPpy mandatory training requirements.

Please note: We can only fund ONE First Aid course per person. Please only chose a date for the course that is relevant for your professional needs.

Terms & conditions: You must give atleast 7 days’ notice to cancel your place. If you cancel within 7 days your organisation may be charged in full. You may transfer the place to another individual in your organisation with up to 48 hrs notice at no charge. If you fail to show on the day this will be considered a funded place and you cannot be funded again for a First Aid qualification through HAPpy or Wraparound Childcare.
