This on-demand online course is designed for anyone who works with 'Substances Hazardous to Health', such as chemicals, this includes those responsibile for cleaning duties in camp and their line managers.

The course covers all the information necessary to keep the user and their colleagues safe from substances that may be potentially harmful to their health. It will allow you to understand your responsibilities under COSHH Regulations and how to reduce the chances of an incident occuring.

Learning outcomes:

• Gain a better understanding of the different types of hazardous substances

• Be able to identify the different types of hazard symbols

• Gain a better understanding of the 6 Simple Steps in controlling health & safety risks

This course will end with a 20 question multiple choice test. (Certificate received upon course completion of 90% pass mark). 

It is IOSH-approved.

There is no specific date or time for this course - you can complete this course at a time that suits you by logging in to our IHASCO on demand platform. This is one of 24 courses available on our training dashboard.
