This on demand online training is suitable for those who handle data within the Education Sector and programmes that support it. This course gives an overview of the GDPR in the UK, focusing on its relevance to the Education sector and the importance of protecting children's data. It has been designed specifically for nurseries, schools, and colleges.

HAPpy camps often require you and your staff to handle alot of sensitive data prior to and during camp and when handling registers of attendance so please use this course to arm them with the knowledge and feel more confident in how to handle this in a safe way.

PLEASE NOTE: This or an equivalent course is a mandatory training requirement for any staff from your organisation who are named as administrators on your Playwaze community booking system from Summer 2025 delivery onwards.

Learning Outcomes:

• Know the Individual Rights guaranteed to all Data Subjects and what you have to do to uphold them
• Understand how the Regulation applies to your role specifically and the Education sector as a whole
• Know how to keep children's data safe

This course will end with a 20-question multiple choice test (Certificate received upon completion of 90% pass mark).

It is IIRSM Approved, Skills for Care endorsed & CPD accredited.
