*NEW* Inclusion Activator (PRACTICAL WORKSHOP)

As delivered by Street Games this in person practical workshop has been designed based on feedback from their network of Locally Trusted Organisations (LTOs), to support practitioners, deliverers, coaches and volunteers (14 years+) in creating a more inclusive and empowering environment to deliver sport, physical activity and movement, for a diverse range of young people. This session provides a space to look at foundational principles of inclusions, the Doorstep Sport methodology & psychological ABCs, followed by tools for engagement.
This session should provide you with the operational tools and a range of icebreakers and physical activities to make your wraparound provision more inclusive to children with SEND.
By the end of this workshop you will:
- Outline the underpinning principles of inclusion.
- Use the StreetGames Methodology & Psychological ABCs to engage diverse groups
- Refer to tools for engagement.
- Identify individual differences & how to create an environment to manage, support & develop these.
This Inclusion Activator course will be a mix of group work, discussion and reflection, as well as icebreakers and physical activities.
Who is it for: Community sport project leaders, coaches and volunteers.
Minimum Age: 14 years
