Understanding and Managing Challenging Behaviour for Activity Coaches

Run by ADD-vance - The ADHD and Autism Trust. This live online interactive workshop will explore what is meant by the term 'challenging behaviour' and why challenging behaviour is more common in Neurodivergent children and young people.

You will begin to understand the link between anxiety, anger and challenging behaviour and develop strategies to anticipate and prevent this behaviour.

It will also provide you with tips and tools to encourage positive behaviours and motivate the neurodiverse children you work with.

You will be provided with further resources including where to get more help.

This course is suitable for all club/activity coaches and providers who deliver on Hertfordshire's HAPpy Camps.

There are no more LIVE dates scheduled for this course ahead of Summer delivery but please email us at hsptraining@herts.ac.uk if you would like to be sent the resources, slides and recording of the session that was run on 1st July to still benefit from the content.

*Please note: The recording will be available until the 31st AUGUST**
