This Level 2 on-demand online course is designed for anyone that regularly handles food – whether it’s where it’s made, prepared, sold or served. You will gain an in depth understanding about food hygiene regulations and how to handle food safely.

You will learn about the procedures and policies that need to be put in place to ensure safety and hygiene practises. You will also learn about the legislation surrounding food safety.

Learning outcomes:

• Learn about food hazards and food poisoning
• Learn about personal hygiene
• Learn about the 4 C’s of food safety
• Understand the procedures and premises that need to be put in place to ensure good safety and hygiene practises
• Includes and develops on Level 1 food safety training to give a more in depth understanding of food safety and hygiene 

This course will end with a 20 question multiple choice test (certificate received upon completion of 90% pass mark).

It is IOSH-approved.

PLEASE NOTE: You will only meet the mandatory HAPpy training requirement to be considered fully qualified in Food Hygiene (able to lead/handle the food at camp) if this course is completed in conjunction with the Food Allergy Awareness on demand course also available on the iHASCO platform. If you hold the Food Safety & Hygiene level 3 this is included in the content so you do not require this top up.

There is no specific date or time for this course - you can complete this course at a time that suits you by logging in to our IHASCO on demand platform. This is one of 24 courses available on our training dashboard.
