This on-demand online course covers the key areas of health and safety that organisations are legally obliged to train their staff in. The course is designed to help you recognise and avoid risks at work – explaining what to do to minimise illness and reduce workplace accidents.

It provides an easy-to-follow but comprehensive introduction to the major topics that will keep your workplace safe and is designed for employees at all levels who need basic health and safety training.

The course looks at responsibilities and legal requirements, hazards and risks, safety signs, PPE and workplace emergency procedures such as fire evacuation and calling the emergency services.

Learning outcomes:

• Gain a better understanding of everyone’s health and safety responsibilities
• Be able to identify the different types of safety signs and what they mean
• Gain a better understanding of the types of risks and hazards in a workplace and learn how you can prevent accidents and injuries

This course will end with a 20 question multiple choice test (certificate received upon completion of 90% pass mark).

It is IOSH and RoSPA approved.
