This on-demand online course focuses on ensuring the well-being of young employees. It covers legal and practical aspects, emphasising the need for proper training, supervision, and tailored risk assessments which properly consider the risks that are unique to young people in order to maintain their safety at work.

We encourage the use of young people to support the delivery of your HAPpy camps and Wraparound provision but care must be taken to safeguard them and assess the additonal risks.

Learning outcomes

• Know what a “young worker” is and what unique risks they face at work
• Understand how to properly train and supervise young workers
• Know how to carry out a young person risk assessment

This course will end with a 20-question multiple choice test. (Certificate received upon completion with 90% pass mark).

It is CPD accredited & IIRSM approved.
